A courtroom microphone picked up Sean “Diddy” Combs quietly praising his lawyer during the cross-examination of Cassie Ventura, his ex-girlfriend and key witness in his ongoing trial. Combs faces serious allegations, including sex trafficking, all of which he denies.
Cassie’s testimony was filled with shocking claims, including that Combs forced her into degrading sex parties and subjected her to physical and emotional abuse. One of the most disturbing allegations involved an escort being instructed to urinate in her mouth.
As Combs’ attorney, Anna Estevao, pressed Cassie about affectionate text messages they had exchanged, a mic caught Combs whispering, “I’m proud,” seemingly impressed by his lawyer’s line of questioning.
Though Cassie acknowledged she had once loved Combs, she insisted the alleged abuse was never consensual. She also testified about his drug use, recalling an overdose at the Playboy Mansion in 2012.
The trial continues, with both sides offering starkly different versions of their past relationship.
